HOUSE DAY
Yesterday our house in Santa Rosa went up. Here are a few pictures of the process.

This little motorcycle thing carried our house to the lot in three trips. I was thinking it would be a truck, but I was wrong.

The first walls are erected.

Making progress. The stack of corrugated pieces you see on the floor will be the roof.

Here the guys are working on the bathroom walls

This will be the living room/kitchen/dining area. Below are a few things we did while we waited for the men to finish.

Lily receiving discipline. I am sure she was grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow :).

We finally tried guinea pig, a traditional Peruvian food. Geoff is holding the fried head. Isn't it cute?

Chi preached a mini sermon at the church (with the Bible upside down).

The last wall is being put up which Chi actually almost knocked down twice. Thankfully, Geoff caught the falling wall with his cat like reflexes. We are hoping it will be stronger when it is fully in place. The entire house was erected in about 5 hours.
